Inbound vs. Outbound workflows

Two types of workflows can be set up - outbound and inbound.

• Outbound workflows: are intended for material and/or data that are sent from your institution to another institution, using a transfer agreement text that you choose. For these workflows, a draft agreement is generated by TTConnect using the template text that you provide.
• Inbound workflows: are intended for material and/or data coming from another institution, where your institution is the recipient. In these cases, the other institution typically provides the transfer agreement text. Hence no text needs to be generated by TTConnect, and the first steps of the 'outbound' workflow are skipped.
